Host Online / Virtual Tours
This can be done either through a video call (like FaceTime) with your client or by recording a video and posting it to the web. A video call is more of a personal experience and allows the client to ask questions, get answers immediately, and see different parts of the home with more detail. A video recording of a home is extra helpful for you as the real estate agent because you’re able to reuse the video over and over and reach more people. You can upload it to the listing’s page along with the photos and detailed information.
Photos
While you probably already have photos of your listing, now is the time to take more photos. If people aren’t leaving their homes to come see the space in person, it’s up to you to make sure they’re getting a full representation of the home. To do this, make sure to take pictures of each room from every angle. If you want to go above and beyond, post the floor plan of the home with dimensions of each room. Dimensions are helpful to give people a gauge on what type of furniture will fit in the space and how wide hallways are. Even knowing counter heights is a huge help to buyers!
Live Q&A
Bridge the social distancing gap by going live on Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platforms. Pick a property or neighborhood where you have several listings and invite your clients to join you as you talk through different aspects of each respective property. This allows you to compare properties and go through pro/con lists with your clients as if you were conversing in person.
